Samuel Zawada is an intelligence professional who provides innovative answers to diverse problems through the application of open-source intelligence (OSINT). With over a decade of experience, Samuel is a seasoned team leader who has led interagency efforts and stewarded OSINT projects. He developed his unique skill set for research, analysis, and innovation through his exposure to a variety of operating environments, including his career overseas serving in the United States Air Force.
Samuel’s service background has informed his work in the private sector, allowing him to conduct robust open-source investigations and analysis. He holds a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance with/Counterintelligence Polygraph and a number of technical program certifications. Samuel has significant experience with vital OSINT programs The combination of his hard skills and deep industry knowledge enables Samuel to guide his teams to novel solutions and outcomes.
During his time as a senior OSINT analyst from 2019 to 2023 at an American government and military contractor specializing in intelligence, Samuel integrated data science tools and research to leverage analysis from both open-source and classified sources to provide judgments on emerging threats to senior military leadership. In his various private sector roles, Samuel also conducted analysis of multiple sources, which resulted in over 100 finished intelligence (FINTEL) reports. He was also tasked with transforming the organization of OSINT collection and analysis with a focus on regional threats.
While serving in the U.S. Air Force from to 2012 to 2018, Samuel drafted and validated time-sensitive messages crucial to U.S. national defense. Thriving in the fast-paced environment, Samuel was often tasked with researching, analyzing, and responding to short suspense OSINT requests for information to assist with the planning, preparation, and coordination of various intelligence mission sets.
