Rodger P. Nayak


Rodger Nayak is an associate in Venable's Real Estate Practice in Washington, DC. Rodger graduated in 2017 from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. While in law school, he interned at the Office of Chief Counsel in the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Rodger served as a judicial intern to Judge Rossie D. Alston, Jr., on the Virginia Court of Appeals.

As student advisor at the Mason Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic, he aided in the representation of clients in military administrative matters, landlord/tenant disputes, and civil litigation in Virginia state courts. He wrote the brief to the Board of Veterans’ Appeals on behalf of an army veteran seeking disability benefits in a case on remand from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Before law school, Rodger worked at SNL Financial (now S&P Global) as a reporter and editor covering mortgage finance and financial services.
