Venable partner Stu Ingis was quoted in a July 8, 2013 Adweek article on the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) recent revisions to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act which went into effect earlier this month. The new rules expand the circumstances under which website and apps must obtain parental permission before collecting and sharing information from children under 13 years old.
