Venable partner Stu Ingis was quoted in a February 13, 2012 article in Adweek on the mobile advertising industry’s attempts to put in place new privacy policies and guidelines to prevent lawmakers in Washington from adopting stringent policies that would hurt industry revenue.

Commenting on proposed laws in Congress and privacy reports due out from the Federal Trade Commission and Commerce Department, Ingis said, “If bills go too far, they might restrict promising services for consumers before those services get a chance to mature.”
