Tammara Langlieb's practice concentrates on assisting clients with state and local tax issues as well as helping clients with their Foreign Account Tax Compliance (FACTA) and information reporting responsibilities.
As part of her state and local tax practice, she regularly advises clients on multistate tax nexus issues along with all tax types, including income, sales and use, payroll, and property. She has assisted taxpayers with tax controversy matters as well as refund claims.
As part of her FACTA and information reporting practice, she has assisted financial institutions, corporations, partnerships and individuals with their information reporting obligations, backup withholding responsibilities, general tax planning matters, and worker classification issues. As such, Ms. Langlieb has helped clients with worker classification audits, navigate trust fund recovery penalty issues and provided guidance on implementing the new W-8BEN requirements.
Additionally, Ms. Langlieb has experience in tax analysis relating to tax-exempt financing, including assisting clients with ensuring that management and sponsorship agreements comply with the IRS safe harbors.
