Taylor Sachs is an associate in Venable’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. While in law school, Mr. Sachs served as a Gubernatorial Fellow with the Florida Department of Health, assisting the general counsel with writing the rules aimed at governing the state’s first medical cannabis industry. He also served as a public affairs legal intern with the American Association for Justice and as a judicial intern to Chief Justice Jorge Labarga of the Florida Supreme Court.
While in private practice, he has handled many patent cases where he helped manage discovery, review documents, and draft discovery objections and responses. Mr. Sachs has also worked across multiple aspects of IP e-discovery, including patent infringement defense, document collection, review, analysis, and production.
Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Sachs worked in the broadcast advertising industry as a media buyer. In this role, he managed over $100 million in commercial inventory for brand name international clients and drafted marketing campaign legal guidelines and rules of regulations.
