Webinar

Join LGBTQ @ Venable on June 25 for a virtual conversation with Laurie Hasencamp, a long-standing equality advocate who has been described as an “ally before we even had that term.” Laurie is a retired bankruptcy attorney who has served on the boards of Lambda Legal, Aid for AIDS/The Serra Project, Equality California, and other organizations. Laurie will share with us the deeply personal ways in which early friendships sparked her passion for championing equality, she’ll address the interplay between various LGBTQ organizations, and she’ll look ahead to how today’s LGBTQ rights activism is shaping the future of the movement. Laurie will also address how anyone – regardless of age or background – can become involved with LGBTQ rights.

Venable celebrates Pride Month and honors the meaningful contributions to our workplace and communities by our LGBTQ attorneys, staff, clients, and friends. LGBTQ @ Venable is committed to providing education and professional development opportunities; we are honored to host this discussion with Laurie, and we hope you will join us.
