Jeremiah Kelly, who serves on the FDLI Annual Conference and Medical Products Committees, will moderate a panel on Wednesday, May 15 at 3:10 p.m. The panel, “Lab Developed Tests (LDTs) Are Now Explicitly FDA-Regulated Medical Devices: What Happens Next?” will discuss the FDA’s final rule and enforcement discretion policy and the effects and potential legal challenges for stakeholders.
Laura Rich, who serves on the 2024 FDLI Cosmetics Task Force, will be speaking on Thursday, May 16 at 2:20 p.m. The panel, “Federal State Tensions on Food Ingredient and Additive Safety,” will discuss the growing tension between FDA and state authorities, and related legal issues and potential practical challenges.
