Venable assisted French aerospace provider Daher in its acquisition of Quest Aircraft Company, the manufacturer of the Kodiak-100, a short-takeoff and -landing aircraft capable of bringing services and heavy supplies to the most remote regions on the planet.  With this acquisition, Daher, manufacturer of the TBM 910 and 940 turboprop aircraft, becomes the seventh-largest aircraft manufacturer in business aviation, with industrial sites in France and the United States.  The deal, which was structured as a stock purchase, closed on October 1, 2019, following completion of CFIUS review.
