Venable counsel Janice Gregerson will present “Fairness and Integrity: Federal Law and Legal Considerations in the Admissions Lifecycle” at the 2022 Annual Institute, to be hosted by the Association of Independent School Admission Professionals (AISAP) in Chicago on July 12.
This session is designed to help admissions professionals understand the various areas in the admissions life cycle where there is potential for legal risk. It will also provide risk mitigation strategies they can employ to ensure their admissions processes are consistent with high ethical standards, while meeting the operational needs of the institution. Janice will first review the various federal laws that govern certain considerations in admissions and inform the types of information schools can solicit from prospective students.
