Venable counsel Janice Gregerson will present “Fairness and Integrity: Federal Law and Best Practices, Legal Considerations in the Admissions Lifecycle” at the 2022 Annual Institute, to be hosted by the Association of Independent School Admission Professionals (AISAP) in Chicago on July 12.
This session will focus on those areas in the admissions life cycle where admissions professionals should be attuned to potential legal risks and pitfalls. It is designed to help admissions professionals understand the various areas in the admissions lifecycle where there is potential for legal risk. Janice will review the various federal laws that govern certain considerations in admissions and inform the types of information schools can solicit from prospective students. She will also review best practices and legal considerations in further vetting potential students and their families.
