Josh Finestone

Josh Finestone has almost two decades of experience on Capitol Hill and in the private sector providing policy advice on a variety of issues. Josh has managed teams of lobbyists developing and implementing complex legislative strategy before the White House, government agencies, the U.S. Senate, and the U.S. House of Representatives. His portfolio includes work before the Committees on Commerce, Tax, Appropriations, Defense, Foreign Relations, Maritime and Transportation in the House and Senate; government agencies; and the White House. His policy acumen and personal relationships enable him to advise and guide clients through extensive and sensitive policy issues.

Since leaving the U.S. Senate, Josh has influenced legislative and regulatory policy, first as the vice president of legislative affairs at a well-known government and public relations firm, and then for the last three years as a senior policy advisor at Venable. In addition, he served on the professional staff of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee as a senior aide to Senator Dean Heller (R-NV), during the senator's service as ranking member of the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety, Insurance, and Data Security. Prior to that position, he was the legislative director for U.S. Representative Tom Graves (R-GA), who served on the House Appropriations Committee. He also served as the legislative assistant to U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (R-MI), with a focus on telecommunications and Internet issues before the Energy and Commerce Committee.
