Christian Schreiber has litigated various types of commercial and government contracts disputes, including breach of contract, tortious interference, misappropriation of trade secrets, Lanham Act and trademark violations, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty. Prior to joining Venable, Christian was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Theresa Carroll Buchanan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division.

Christian graduated magna cum laude with the Order of the Coif from William & Mary Law School in 2015. While at William & Mary, he competed with the Moot Court Team and was a senior articles editor of the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal. Between semesters at law school, Christian interned for a small civil law firm in Williamsburg, Virginia, and for the international programs division of a nonprofit organization in Arlington, Virginia. He earned his B.A. in History, with honors, from Michigan State University in 2012.

  • Obtained a preliminary injunction for a large defense contractor under the Federal Defend Trade Secrets Act regarding trade secrets shared during a teaming agreement involving the receiving party’s failure to firewall employees with knowledge (E.D. Va.)
  • Co-counsel for a business conspiracy case involving allegations of a breached teaming agreement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and violation of restrictive covenants (Fairfax Cir.)
  •  Obtained a preliminary injunction against a former executive in a noncompetition and misappropriation of trade secrets case (Norfolk Cir.)
  •  Represented a plaintiff restaurant group in breach of commercial lease litigation and obtained a preliminary injunction against a landlord (Fairfax Cir.)
