On April 20, 2015, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce honored the Trustworthy Accountability Group's (TAG) Brand Integrity Program Against Piracy with the 2015 IP Champions Award. The award is presented to individuals, initiatives, and organizations that demonstrate leadership in advancing IP interests and, in turn, promoting innovation, economic growth, and consumer safety. Venable's team, comprised of Stu Ingis, Tara Potashnik, David Strickland, Chan Lieu, and Marissa Kibler, have served as counsel to the effort.

TAG is a voluntary industry agreement between the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s), and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) to reduce advertising on websites associated with piracy. The TAG Brand Integrity Program Against Piracy helps companies avoid harms associated with having their ads inadvertently placed on sites that have an undesired risk of infringement by identifying validated vendors whose products can help brands keep their ads off undesired sites, and be used by advertisers, ad agencies, and ad networks.
