Shannon Sansom handles complex matters related to the advertising and marketing industry, with a particular focus on promotions counseling and claims substantiation review. Shannon has conducted legal review of product launches and marketing programs in print and digital formats. She also has experience drafting rules for sweepstakes, contests, and other consumer-based promotions. Along the way, Shannon skillfully guides her clients—which range from small start-ups to nationally recognized technology organizations—through myriad regulations that govern the rapidly changing digital marketplace.

During her years spent as in-house counsel for a full-service marketing and advertising agency in Connecticut, she gained significant experience drafting agreements on behalf of the agency and its clients, and advising on business-related legal issues, including risk-related subjects, employment, and company policies.

In addition to her robust experience in matters related to advertising and marketing, Shannon has a background in products liability, having previously worked at a personal injury and medical malpractice law firm.
