Sarah Kahl Elected Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel

Sarah Kahl, a partner in Venable’s Estate Planning Practice, was elected a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). To become an ACTEC Fellow, one must have more than 10 years of experience in the active practice of probate and trust law or estate planning. Lawyers and law professors are elected to be fellows based on their outstanding reputation, exceptional skill, and substantial contributions to the field by lecturing, writing, teaching, and participating in bar activities.

Ms. Kahl focuses her practice on tax and estate planning for individuals and families. She also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries on the proper administration of a trust. With her CPA background, she reviews a client's entire financial picture to tailor appropriate tax strategies to the particular client. Her practice includes the administration of foreign trusts and planning for individuals with foreign connections.
