WASHINGTON, DC (September 25, 2007) - Ronald R. Glancz, chair of the Financial Services Group at Venable LLP, has been elected Chancellor of the Exchequer Club of Washington, DC. A club member for 20 years, Mr. Glancz served as Vice Chancellor during the previous year.

The Exchequer Club was formed in 1960 by a group of individuals whose primary professional interest was in the field of national economic and financial policy. Today, its membership includes more than 150 senior professionals from trade associations, federal regulatory agencies, law firms, Congressional committees and the national press. The Club's purpose is to provide a frank and open forum on national economic, financial and political matters.
