The enrollment contract plays a critical role in the health and welfare of the school. If drafted correctly it ensures the collection of tuition and other fees. If poorly drafted the school's fiscal resources can be subjected to risk. In addition, the contract establishes the guidelines for behavior, allows for permissions and provides the school with maximum flexibility to take necessary actions to allow for the smooth and efficient operations of the institution.

Hear Caryn discuss the drafting of enrollment contracts and especially the essential steps that must be followed when using an online process. She will provide practical guidance on issues such as hard wiring payment obligations, who should sign the document, how to deal with disruptive and or feuding parents, obtaining permissions and releases and the theory of using the enrollment contract as a "one stop" solution to collecting information from parents. In addition, Caryn will discuss the numerous hot legal issues in admissions.
