On December 18, 2018, TIME'S UP recognized Venable attorneys Michele Mulrooney, Nikki Hasselbarth, Andrew Price, and Halle Markus for their contributions one year after the launch of its TIME'S UP Legal Defense Fund, which was created on January 1, 2018, to connect survivors of workplace sexual harassment with attorneys, so that women everywhere, from board rooms to factory floors, would be able to fight for safe, fair, and dignified workplaces.

Today, more than 21,000 people from around the world have contributed more than $22 million, which is the largest amount of money ever raised on GoFundMe, to connect women and men who experience workplace sexual harassment and retaliation with attorneys and, in some cases, media specialists.

According to the TIME'S UP Legal Defense Fund's annual report, the TIME'S UP Legal Defense Fund, administered by the National Women's Law Center Fund LLC, has used the money raised to respond to more than 3,700 workers, who are overwhelmingly women, across myriad industries to connect them to attorneys for a free initial consultation. More than 790 attorneys have joined the network, with 75 cases filed, which in total is a commitment of more than $5 million.
