With profound sadness, Venable regrets to report that our partner Todd Reuben was one of the 64 people aboard American Airlines Flight #77 that crashed into the Pentagon on September 11. Todd was a wonderful person and an excellent lawyer, and he will be greatly missed. As fellow partner Stef Tucker reflected, "Todd was a great person who had all his priorities right. Family came first, friends came second, and the legal world came third. He never varied from those priorities. Because of them, a number of his clients became his friends. To know Todd was to like him instantly."
Todd joined Venable in 2000 as a result of the Venable -- Tucker, Flyer merger and was a partner in the firm's tax and business transactions practice. Todd joined Tucker Flyer in 1989 upon graduating from George Washington University Law School. He received his undergraduate degree from Emory University. Todd is survived by his wife, Viv Reuben, and eleven-year old twin sons Jeffrey and Jason.
