The Deal Newsweekly and the Daily Record recently noted the addition of Marta Harting, a leading Maryland legislative and regulatory attorney, to Venable's Baltimore office.
Harting, who arrives from the Baltimore office of DLA Piper, represents a wide range of business interests before the Maryland General Assembly as well as the state's regulatory agencies. She joins as a partner in Venable's State and Local Government Practice Group and will work closely with John R. Stierhoff, who joined the firm in September 2007. Harting is a leading authority in administrative law and public law litigation.
