Venable was recently ranked 18th in the nation based on the number of U.S. trademark applications filed in 2008, according to Trademark Insider. This ranking marks the seventh consecutive year the firm has ranked among the top 25 trademark practices in the nation. Venable partner Mark Harrison was also individually ranked among the top 20 trademark attorneys in the nation for 2008.
Intellectual Property Today also recently ranked Venable's Trademark Practice Group, listing it 10th in the nation out of 277 firms based upon the number of trademark registrations obtained in the U.S. for clients. This marks the third consecutive year in which Venable's ranking has advanced.
