On Thursday, June 11, 2009, Venable’s Privacy and Data Security Practice beat out attorneys from Baker & McKenzie, Covington & Burling, Hogan & Hartson, Hunton & Williams, Kelley Drye & Warren, Morrison & Foerster, and WilmerHale to take the 2009 Chambers USA Award of Excellence as firm making the largest impact in the practice of privacy law over the previous year.
The 2009 edition of the Chambers USA rankings, which were released the next morning, noted that Venable partners Milo Cividanes and Stu Ingis garnered particular praise from clients and peers for their work on behavioral advertising issues.
