On July 28, 2010 the Washington, DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP) announced that EnviRelation LLC, an environmental and green services provider for hospitality and tourism companies, is the winner of its annual Business Plan Competition. The competition is a DC-based initiative with a $100,000 investment capital prize that was developed on behalf of the District of Columbia to support District-based entrepreneurs.

Our attorneys work hands-on with growing companies to help them achieve their goals and guide them through strategic business transactions like mergers and acquisitions, loans and financing. Venable's Business Transactions Group will provide $10,000 in pro bono legal services to EnviRelation over the course of the coming year. The Business Plan Competition is administered by WDCEP in collaboration with Advantage Capital Partners and Enhanced Capital Partners. This was the second year of the competition, which was developed to encourage entrepreneurship, innovation, and job creation within the District of Columbia.
