Venable partner Ashley Craig was quoted in a September 30 The Journal of Commerce Online story on the retirement of maritime expert John M. Cullather.
Mr. Cullather, who announced that he will retire at the end of the 111th Congress, is known as one of the leading maritime experts on Capitol Hill and has written some of the most significant maritime legislation of the past three decades.
Mr. Craig spoke highly of Mr. Cullather, saying that his "command of the many maritime transportation-related issues before the House is second to none. I had the great pleasure of working with John over the years, and learned much from him on legislative, policy and regulatory matters affecting the industry."
