Last week, AmLaw unveiled their most recent "Global 100" list, which ranks the world's 100 largest law firms by revenue. For the first time in the firm's history, Venable appeared on the list, clocking in at #98.
Venable is one of five U.S. firms to join the list this year, which saw some shuffling among ranked firms due in part to the weak British pound and the strength of litigation practices at U.S firms. The list ranked firms based on their fiscal year 2009 Am Law 100 revenue figures.
