Glenn Ivey's recent arrival as a partner in Venable's white collar and government investigations practices has received press coverage in The Daily Record, The Baltimore Business Journal, The Washington Business Journal, Compliance Week, and Main Justice.
Ivey, the former Prince George's County State's Attorney, will split his time between the firm's Baltimore and Washington, DC offices. When asked why he chose Venable, he told The Daily Record, “I like the fact that it’s sort of Baltimore-Washington-centric as opposed to some of the other firms I considered, which are really based in other places.”
Regarding his time in public service, Ivey said, “I enjoyed public service and the energy of it, the excitement of it. Being state’s attorney of Prince George’s County is a job that was never boring. I just loved almost everything about it.”
