Ranked 2nd for Summer Associate Program that Best Prepares for Practice and 4th for Best Overall Summer Associate Program
Washington, DC (August 17, 2012) – Venable LLP is pleased to announce that for the second consecutive year the firm’s summer associate program has been ranked among the top ten in the nation by Vault. This year, Venable ranked #2 among top law firms for the Summer Associate Program that Best Prepares for Practice, and #4 for Best Overall Summer Associate Program.
Last year the firm ranked #9 for the Summer Associate Program that Best Prepares for Practice and #10 Best Overall Summer Associate Program.

The Vault survey was taken by nearly 17,000 junior associates (first-years through third-years) who participated in their current firm’s summer associate program. They were asked to rate their experience on a scale of 1 to 10 concentrating on areas such as how well the summer program prepared the associate for life at the firm, and their overall experience. The Overall Best Summer Associate Program ranking reflects the average of these categories.
