Baltimore, MD (May 16, 2013) – Chuck Morton will lead the Association for Corporate Growth’s (ACG’s) US delegation to the China International Private Equity Forum (CIPEF), jointly sponsored by the Tianjin People’s Government, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC and ACG-China. The forum will be held June 6-13 in Tianjin and features a broad array of speakers and participants.

The China International Private Equity Forum (CIPEF) brings together more than 8,000 dealmakers focused on China. Now in its 7th year, CIPEF provides a substantial business opportunity for companies focused on investing in the fast-growing Chinese marketplace. A high-profile event that attracts major Chinese media attention, CIPEF enjoys support from senior Chinese officials and attracts the involvement of ACG members and others with experience and success in China.

Among the activities will be focused meetings on:

Investing: Meet with more than 1,000 pre-screened private Chinese companies seeking western investment.

Networking: Network with leading private equity professionals, corporate development executives, and intermediaries from North America, Europe and Asia, as well as Chinese entrepreneurs and government officials.

The conference will also feature an opportunity for participants to do business at the ACG Capital Connection® and ACG DealSource® "speed dating" session between western professionals and Chinese growth companies.

ACG Capital Connection is the signature event of the Forum, which sets the stage for an intense networking experience between attendees and senior partners of exhibiting firms. Companies represented at ACG Capital Connection in Tianjin span all segments of the business community.

“I look forward to every aspect of this conference,” Chuck Morton, Co-Chair of Venable’s Corporate Practice and Global Chairman of ACG, said. “The opportunity to put the deal makers together is exciting- and, in my world, one of the the most satisfying things we do.  I look forward to participating with ACG’s Chinese members and to my time with Venable’s clients and friends who will be in attendance.”
