The DC Bar Foundation Board of Directors has appointed Venable associate Annette Kwok to the Young Lawyers Network Leadership Council for a two-year term that began July 1, 2014 and will end June 30, 2016.
Launched in November 2011, the Young Lawyers Network offers an opportunity for younger attorneys to further the goal of access to justice by engaging with the DC Bar Foundation—the leading private funder of civil legal services for DC’s underserved. Members serve as ambassadors to younger attorneys in the DC community in order to promote the Bar Foundation’s mission and programs, and to help raise additional resources to support legal services programs.
