On May 21, 2016, Venable’s Trademark team hosted over 600 guests at the ICEBAR Orlando during the International Trademark Association (INTA) annual meeting. World IP Review featured the reception and stated, "The hosts were law firm Venable, who had impressed at last year's conference by organising a baseball trip, and this year was no exception as INTA attendees flocked in their droves." Fourteen Venable attorneys attended.
In addition to the world-class reception, Venable was a sponsor for the World Trademark Review's (WTR) 2016 Industry Awards. This event, timed to coincide with the INTA annual meeting, was attended by 260 senior in-house counsel from nominated companies and representatives from a number of prominent law firms. Venable partners Justin Pierce and Andrew Price presented the Fashion, Cosmetics, and Luxury Goods Team of the Year award to Moncler. Additionally, a prominent Venable client, The American Red Cross, won the Not-For-Profit Organisation Team of the Year. Jocelyn Belloni, Becky Liebowitz and Linda Zirkelbach also represented Venable at the awards.
