Venable managing director of cybersecurity services Ari Schwartz was interviewed on the August 1, 2016 broadcast of Government Matters to discuss Presidential Policy Directive 41 that governs the federal government’s response to major cyber incidents. The directive is part of the administration’s plan to address cybersecurity issues which includes raising the level of cybersecurity in the public and private sector, combating malicious cyber activity, and responding to cyber incidents.
"It's one piece that really focuses on how we go about responding to incidents and what our partners from outside should expect when they work with government," Schwartz said of how the directive fits into the administration’s larger cybersecurity plans.
