Venable recently added Belinda Martinez Vega as a partner to its Commercial Litigation Practice in the Los Angeles office. Ms. Vega will focus her practice on complex commercial business litigation and corporate internal investigations.
Ms. Vega has led trials in several critical litigation arenas, including antitrust, securities, and intellectual property litigation. She also counsels clients on corporate compliance and conducts internal investigations in response to government inquiries and allegations of misconduct. Ms. Vega serves as a commissioner to the board of the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pensions, to which she was appointed by former Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and reappointed by Mayor Eric Garcetti. She was formerly a commissioner on the Los Angeles Rent Adjustment Commission.
