Mr. Pedone’s experience in structuring and closing complex deals includes more than $15 billion in M&A, financing, real estate, and commercial transactions. He also uses his experience as a negotiator to resolve difficult disputes and regulatory matters.
During his tenure in the Hogan administration, Mr. Pedone settled a multi-year licensing dispute with the owner of Maryland’s largest hydroelectric facility, oversaw the financial restructuring of the Purple Line light rail P3 project, and negotiated a solution to bring Baltimore City’s wastewater treatment plants back into compliance.
Commenting on his return to Venable, Mr. Pedone said, “Since my time at Venable, the firm has remained a powerhouse both locally and nationally. The range of services and caliber of its attorneys in the corporate, infrastructure, environmental, transportation, and energy spaces put me in a wonderful position to grow my practice and add to the firm’s capabilities.”
