Ben Civiletti was a legend and giant in the legal profession, at Venable, and in the community. His impact on the firm and its values and culture cannot be overstated.
After serving as U.S. Attorney General, Ben rejoined Venable in 1981 to open our Washington D.C. office and oversaw its growth into one of the leading law offices in the nation’s capital. Among his many long lasting contributions to Venable, he was a driving force behind the creation of the Venable Foundation in 1983.
