On April 6, 2023, Venable was recognized among BTI Consulting Group’s Client Service A-Team: Survey of Law Firm Client Service Performance for 2023. According to BTI, client needs are wider and require a more rapid response, and many are new. This survey recognizes the firms that drive superior relationships by knowing exactly how to help their clients and acting quickly. Venable was ranked number 161 out of 200 in client service performance—joining the BTI Client Service 200. In addition, leading corporate counsel named Venable a standout in six of the 17 activities clients value most and consider most important, and have the most influence on hiring and rate decisions in driving superior client relationships.
The survey is a data-driven ranking based solely on in-depth interviews with leading corporate counsel to determine how law firms compare in client service delivery. The analysis is based on a variety of factors, including the ability to anticipate the client’s needs, field the absolute best team, deal with unexpected changes, deliver value for the dollar, and understand the client's business.
