On April 3, 2023, Daniel Hoffer was quoted in the Los Angeles Business Journal regarding his new leadership role as co-partner-in-charge of Venable’s Los Angeles office.
Daniel will share the role through the end of the year with Mitchell Evall, who has served as partner-in-charge since 2015 and will ultimately transition to partner-in-charge of lateral integration. Daniel initially joined Venable in 2012 and has a track record of working with Mitch.
“I’ve worked closely with Mitch for years,” Daniel said, “and especially during the pandemic, we really worked closely in terms of developing protocols for reopening, how to get the work done, arbitrations that were going on, so it was really a collaborative effort in terms of picking the successor.”
Commenting on the Los Angeles office, Daniel said, “What I really like about it is, it’s a big firm, so you get all of the advantages and large platform that comes with that,” he said, “but at the same time, we really are more flexible and entrepreneurial in the Los Angeles office. It’s the best of both worlds.”
