Daniel Hoffer is a co-chair of the Commercial Litigation California Practice Group and a co-partner-in-charge of the Los Angeles office. He is an accomplished litigator who focuses on all aspects of employment law, commercial, and class action defense. Hoffer has litigated hundreds of lawsuits in both state and federal courts, and before administrative agencies, such as the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In addition, Hoffer donates time and money to numerous nonprofits. Currently, he serves as a mentor for multiple individuals as part of an adult literacy campaign. He is also involved in fundraising and other activities dedicated to providing mental health counseling and resources to at-risk youths. From 1996 to 1998, Hoffer served with distinction as an FBI special agent, working on a multi-agency task force that prosecuted some of LA’s most violent criminal enterprises.
