Crain’s New York Business Recognizes Leah Druckerman as Notable LGBTQ+ Leader for 2024

Leah Druckerman was recognized as a notable LGBTQ+ leader by Crain’s New York Business for 2024. This special honor highlights the top LGBTQ+ talent in New York. 

“Druckerman successfully facilitated the partnership between Venable and the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund in order to provide pro bono legal services to low-income transgender individuals,” wrote Crain’s New York Business. “She also mentors LGBTQ+ law students and speaks at other firms about how to be a supportive and effective ally to transgender colleagues.”

Ms. Druckerman helps clients with the collection, use, protection, and responsible monetization of business and consumer data. She proactively identifies and addresses data security risks for clients and advises on responding to security incidents and data breaches, as well as related investigations and remediation. A skilled transactional lawyer with experience handling complex intellectual property and technology negotiations, Ms. Druckerman provides practical, business-focused advice to clients facing privacy and data security contracting challenges and negotiations. She regularly drafts, negotiates, and advises on the privacy, confidentiality, and data security aspects of vendor engagements, data licensing, IT outsourcing, software-as-a-service (SaaS), and corporate acquisitions.
