At the heart of the evening, Lin-Manuel Miranda will accept the Town Hall Vanguard Award for his visionary work, which embodies the very essence of the Town Hall’s mission—blending artistic excellence, community impact, and civic engagement. The festivities will also pay tribute to the Town Hall’s board president emeritus, Tom Wirtshafter, with the Town Hall Friend of the Arts Award. Tom’s transformative leadership and deep commitment to the performing arts have left an indelible mark on the Town Hall.
All proceeds will support the Town Hall’s efforts to bring iconic artists to the stage; preserve the Town Hall historic landmark venue; champion voices that shape the future; and expand access to the arts and civic dialogue.
