On December 16, Jeremy Goldkind was featured by the Machinery Dealers National Association, reflecting on the significant impact the Austin D. Lucas Scholarship Fund (ADLSF) had on his academic and professional journey.
Goldkind credited the scholarship with giving him the space he needed to excel academically. “The Austin D. Lucas Scholarship gave me the time to study,” he shared, “which in turn allowed me to succeed in ways that shaped everything that came after.”
Although Goldkind ultimately pursued a career outside the machinery-dealer profession, he emphasized how the scholarship and his family’s legacy continued to influence his work. “I didn’t become a machinery dealer,” he said, “but I’ve spent years representing companies up and down the supply chain, including machinery and component-part manufacturers, vendors, and industries tied to the machinery world. In a way, it all circles back to the community where I grew up, and I know that my continuing touchpoints with these industries have made my grandfather and father very proud of the legacy they helped to build.”
