AJ Lynn, a partner in Venable’s Commercial Litigation practice, has been named to Maryland’s Top 100 Women by the Daily Record. Maryland’s Top 100 Women recognizes high-achieving Maryland women who are making an impact through their leadership, community service, and mentoring.
Ms. Lynn represents clients in courts and alternative dispute resolution tribunals across the country in complex high-stakes commercial litigation matters involving commercial and government contracts, trusts and estates, intellectual property (IP), trade secret misappropriation, fraud, and related business torts. She frequently provides pre-litigation counseling, negotiating resolutions in formal and informal alternative dispute resolution (ADR) settings to establish the best strategy for each client’s needs. She has extensive experience counseling clients in a variety of industries, including cybersecurity, sports and entertainment, financial services, international trade, nonprofit, healthcare, life sciences, and technology, including standing up and updating information management and data retention programs.
An active community member, Ms. Lynn serves on the board of directors of Special Olympics Maryland, Women’s Law Center, and SNF Parkway/Maryland Film Festival and on the Council for the Maryland State Bar Association Litigation Section. AJ is also dedicated to pro bono service and has been recognized by Venable, Tahirih Justice Center, Public Justice Center, the Daily Record, and the District of Columbia Courts for the impact of her pro bono work and her leadership in the community.
