On August 13, Justin Pierce, a co-chair of Venable's Intellectual Property Division, was recognized by IAM in IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists list for 2026. With this recognition, IAM strives to showcase the most highly regarded IP professionals in the world.
Selections for the Strategy 300 are based on confidential third-party nominations and additional research, including interviews and correspondence with members of the global IP community, with final inclusion reflecting the judgment of the IAM research team.
Mr. Pierce advises global businesses on the protection, commercialization, enforcement, and strategic use of intellectual property (IP) and intangible assets. Mr. Pierce also counsels companies on the legal, business, and regulatory issues associated with artificial intelligence (AI), innovative and emerging technologies, data, brands, and IP portfolios. He draws on his experience as former senior in-house IP counsel at Sony Mobile and brings a practical, business-oriented perspective to helping clients develop, protect, license, monetize, and leverage IP to achieve their objectives.
