Venable LLP partner Andrew Steinberg was appointed vice chair of the American Bar Association’s Nonprofit Organizations Committee for a three-year term, which will run from fall 2026 through 2029. The Committee serves as a resource for nonprofit lawyers on issues affecting nonprofit organizations in a rapidly changing legal and regulatory environment. The Committee also monitors and updates the Model Nonprofit Corporation Act. In addition to his new role as a vice chair, Mr. Steinberg serves as the chair of the Current Developments Subcommittee.
