Vasilios Peros has been selected by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) as a judge for its 2003 Mid-Atlantic Regional Student Conference hosted at the University of Maryland College Park on April 11-12, 2003. AIAA is a national organization of engineers, scientists and business professionals active in the fields of aeronautics and astronautics. Vasilios is a Senior Member of AIAA having joined in 1980 while working on product design, development and manufacturing at a Fortune 100 corporation. The student conference features presentations by undergraduate and graduate students from the region in various fields of engineering.
