If you rely on the fax machine for marketing, your association's marketing practices will drastically change starting August 25. These new rules, issued by the FCC, will fundamentally change the way that countless associations, business partners, and association members conduct their marketing. The established business relationship exception is about to disappear. The new regulations apply to fax communications with your members as well as non-members. These changes are already creating substantial costs, heartburn and other problems.
