Venable LLP, Tishman Speyer, Howard University School of Law and the Historical Society of Washington, DC  cordially invite you to join us for a reception to honor the achievements and sacrifices of Mary Church Terrell and Charles Hamilton Houston as commemorated by the U.S. Postal Service's recent Civil Rights Pioneers stamp issue.

Guest Speakers:

Mr. Lonnie Bunch, Founding Director of the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture, will speak on the significant contributions of Mary Church Terrell, local writer, activist and lecturer.

Professor W. Sherman Rogers, Howard University Law School, will speak about the contributions of Charles Hamilton Houston, who served as Vice-Dean of HU Law School from 1929 - 1936.
