Ken Hoffman and Sam Olchyk led a conference call for members of the American Benefits Council, providing an update on proposed legislation that would provide pension funding relief to multiemployer (union-sponsored) pension plans, whose funding obligations have been especially hard hit by the dramatic decline in pension assets as a result of the economic recession.
The American Benefits Council, of which Venable is a member, is widely recognized as the nation's preeminent group focused on employer-sponsored benefit programs.
