Scott Hommer participate in ABA audio program on government procurement "hot topics"

On January 19, 2010, Scott Hommer participated in an ABA audio program on government procurement "hot topics."  The panel was moderated by Scott Hommer.  Also participating on the panel were Alice Eldridge, Vice President, Ethics and Business Conduct, Lockheed Martin Corporation; Steve Linick, Director, Procurement Fraud Task Force, Department of Justice; and Mary Kendall, Acting Inspector General, Department of Interior.  The panelists discussed the current challenges facing government contractors, including increased audit oversight, mandatory disclosure requirements, amendments to the civil False Claims Act, and the Obama Administration's "insourcing" initiative.  The panel took questions from the audience after a recording was played of their discussion of these same issues at a November conference in Orlando, Florida.  The conference was sponsored by the ABA Section of Public Contract Law.
