What impact does Citizen's United have for Washington and for the fall 2010 election season ahead? Months after the U.S. Supreme Court's landmark ruling in Citizen's United v. FEC eliminating legal restrictions on independent political advertising by corporations and labor unions, the full impact of the decision and what it means on the ground is starting to take shape.

Ron Jacobs will discuss how the Supreme Court's decision will impact trade associations. He will address such issues as disclosure, funding political communications, and the tax implications of political activity. In addition, he will discuss state reactions to the decision as well as legislation pending before Congress, which if passed, could have a major impact on disclosure of donors to associations.
